On Feb. 10, 2007, the Silcox Auction Company held its monthly auction at the Peteetneet Academy in Payson, Utah. There were 140 registered bidders that helped keep things going. It was a fun-filled day with a lot of fast talking and hands raised high, making the auction a great success.

In the auction there were over 550 items ranging from antiques to new items. Some of the items were donated to help raise money for the Peteetneet Academy elevator fund. All of the proceeds from these sales went to help out the Academy.

Some of the high selling items were: a nice English buffet sold at $975, a Grandfather clock at $950, a china cabinet at $450 and a Silk Brigham Young bookmark that sold for $135. Other items that sold well were a Seth-Thomas kitchen clock for $195, an Schlitz advertising sign for $50 and a horse collar mirror for $60.

Silcox Auctions would like to thank all those that come out and participated to make the auctions a success.

Their next auction will be held on March 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. with a preview starting at 9 a.m. The auction is located at the Peteetneet Academy, 10 South 600 East in Payson, Utah.
